ROLL OVER ROLY

The cover of 'Roll over Roly'

'Jump, you dozy lump!
Up! Down! Faster!

Rupert spends the day with his Great Aunt Ada, along with his unruly puppy, Roly. Great Aunt Ada is determined to teach them some manners and get them to clean her house.

Even worse than Great Aunt Ada is her parrot, Gordon, who bosses Rupert and Roly around as they clean.

Roll Over Roly is a book for younger children, with illustrations by Philippe Dupasquier. It was first published in 1999, and in 2002, while Anne Fine held the post of Children's Laureate, Puffin brought out a new edition to coincide with World Book Day.
